Basketball Cards?

I literally have about 1,000 basketball cards and Im looking to sell them. I have some expensive ones and some cheap ones. I need to sell these. Where do I go?

I sell a lot on eBay or craigslist and i have found it to be a very good way to go. Selling to a card shop they will only pay 25-30% of what it books for, and they may only want certain cards in your collection. Either sell them to other collectors that you know or go on eBay to sell them....

How do I know how much to sell my baseball/basketball cards for?

I have a little over 80 baseball, basketball and football cards but i have no idea what to sell them for. i have old cards but not old enough to get anything big for them and a bunch of new cards. Someone wants to buy my cards but im just not sure what to ask for them. i also have a wood plaque that displays two cards...how much does that go for?

Look on ebay

Should I keep my bad basketball cards in my collection?

I am trying to start a basketball card collection. I am planning on making frames for certain teams or players. But what about my useless nobody cards? Should I include them with the team in there frame? Or set them aside in what I call my "Nobody Book"?

You can create a new section called the "Nobody Club" or something. And frame it like what you would do for the others. Maybe in time to come, it will worth something.

What should I do with old basketball cards, hundreds of them?

I am looking for something to do with my old basketball cards, I have a lot of them. Hope fully it is something profitable, and I have tried Ebay, that's much too expensive to start with, and time-consuming for a person as busy as I am. Anything else that I can maximize the good done with them(as opposed to throwing them out) and perhaps make some money as well?

I would suggest finding a good light-proof, airtight container (old cake-tin or something) sticking them all in it with a pouch of silica gel (little package of beads you sometimes find in boxes with electronic items) to keep moisture out and simply archive them where they wont be lost or completely forgotten. They may be worth nothing now, but perhaps by the time your children or grandchildren are ready to go to college they may pay for it.

Remember, it only takes ONE card to become really collectable to make it worth-while. When it comes time to sell, be sure to do a little research and get MULTIPLE valuations, you dont want a collector to give you $100 for the lot when it contains twenty cards worth $5,000 each.

can someone please tell me where I can get my basketball cards appraised?

I have a decent basketball card collection that I want to get appraised. Some of my cards date back to 1990. All my cards have been kept in a hardback binder in plastic casings and are in mint condition. Where can I find the value of these cards?
