what are the best ways to bvreak in baseball gloves?
i just got a new mizuno baseball glove and i need to know the best and most effective way to break it in. and i need to break it in fast!
The absolute best way to break a glove in is by actually using the glove, When the glove is not in use, wrap a belt, rope, or bungy cord around the glove with a ball in the spot you want the pocket.
This is March. Baseball season is not starting. Whatever you do, DO NOT PUT OIL ON THE GLOVE NOW. All the oil will do is wreck baseballs by getting the leftover oil on the baseballs.
Oil is only for protecting the glove, put the oil on the glove when your season is over. Then put Neets's Foot Oil on the glove with your bare hands. The friction from your hand will help get the oil into the pores of the leather. That oil will protect the leather from drying out over the winter.
I have used this on my gloves as well as those of my sons. My two gloves are over 30 years old and are still in fine shape. Follow this method and your gloves will be in good shape years from now as well.

The New Mizuno Baseball Glove?
Does anyone know what kind of leather Mizuno uses for their new Classic Pro Baseball Glove, specifically the Mizuno Classic Pro Series: GCP50X?
Thanks.
When I say the kind of leather, I mean the name of it. Example: Kip Leather or USA Steerhide.
I would say go with wilson. Mizunos are made cheaply (foreign).

: $68.00
