Columbia Bowling Ball News

my daughter has a columbia bowling ball can we use car polish tho make it shine?

No you do not want to use car polish on todays modern equipment. Another thing is polish makes a ball slide longer before it starts to hook and roll. If your daughter throws a plastic ball and car polish wouldn't hurt but its not USBC legal so i'd recommend some bowling ball polish.

Oh if her ball is not a columbia white dot i wont not recommed using any polish on it at all unless you're intending to decrease hook

what is a good price for bowling ball Columbia 300 in great condition its Grey plus the bag which is a dark fo

i am selling it on eBay but want to no what to start the price off at

Used bowling balls are not worth much if anything you would be lucky to get $5.00

Looking for Columbia 300 Aftershock Bowling Ball...?

I've been using this ball since I was a little kid and my dad taught me the correct way to work the lanes. But the Columbia 300 "Aftershock" has been a retired ball for some time, and I've checked ebay, and amazon, and all sorts of other sites, and I can't find one. So I figured maybe one of you guys can help me out (hopefully). I'd really like to find another one, drilled or not.

If the person who runs your pro shop is sponsored by anyone or knows anyone that is sponsored they will be able to fine one. Chances are it will not be a blank, I can nearly guarentee it, but having it plugged and redrilled will be great. you can also check craigslist to see if they have anything.

What is the best way to clean a bowling ball?

I've got two balls - a Columbia Resurgence and a Track Desert Heat. My Resurgence is my dull ball and my Heat is my shiny ball. I need some advice on what to use to clean them and what product is recommended. Thanks!

After every bowling session, league or practice, I use "Clean 'n Dull" by Track to clean the my ball. Clean and Dull is a thin jelly that draws the oil out of the pores and prolongs the life of the ball. If oil is allowed to accumulate in the pores, eventually the ball will lose its ability to hook and strike. Clean N Dull can be purchased over the internet for $30 per quart, about the cost of 2 league sessions. One quart should last you for an entire season depending on how much you bowl. A cheaper way of cleaning your ball is to soak your ball in detergent after each session. I use one of those plastic cat litter buckets and a solution of Simple Green or Fantastik. Let soak for 10 minutes and rinse with hot water does the job. Don't put the ball in the detergent and forget about it. You could get an overload of detergent in the pore and it is very hard to remove. One other means of cleaning your ball is to use Windex.

i was wondering if anyone has any information about a bowling ball called (sure D hook) I may have one?

I have a ball that says sure d pro on it by columbia, and also another ball by columbia that doesnt say anything, but looks very strange, like its made from something odd. I was wondering if anyone could help me and tell me hoe to know if i have a sure d hook?
