my daughter has a columbia bowling ball can we use car polish tho make it shine?

No you do not want to use car polish on todays modern equipment. Another thing is polish makes a ball slide longer before it starts to hook and roll. If your daughter throws a plastic ball and car polish wouldn't hurt but its not USBC legal so i'd recommend some bowling ball polish.

Oh if her ball is not a columbia white dot i wont not recommed using any polish on it at all unless you're intending to decrease hook

Looking for Columbia 300 Aftershock Bowling Ball...?

I've been using this ball since I was a little kid and my dad taught me the correct way to work the lanes. But the Columbia 300 "Aftershock" has been a retired ball for some time, and I've checked ebay, and amazon, and all sorts of other sites, and I can't find one. So I figured maybe one of you guys can help me out (hopefully). I'd really like to find another one, drilled or not.

If the person who runs your pro shop is sponsored by anyone or knows anyone that is sponsored they will be able to fine one. Chances are it will not be a blank, I can nearly guarentee it, but having it plugged and redrilled will be great. you can also check craigslist to see if they have anything.

Why does my entry level bowling ball roll weird?

My new Columbia 300 Scout Reactive with fingertip grip rolls to the right if I don't try to put spin on it, so I fell confident about picking up the 6, 9, or 10 pin. However, it is the opposite when I leave pins on the left side. It seems like it would be easier to hook my ball if I bowled lefty because as a righty it barely curves on light oil. The pin is just to the right of my ring finger. Is what I am experiencing normal? Any advice?

First off, the ball will not have a noticable difference in hook if you throw it lefty or right. That ball has a pancake weight block so the layout will have a very minimal effect on the amount of hook you see in the ball. I am almost certain that the problems you are having are a result of your release. You may be throwing a bit of a "back-up" ball at your right side spares which is why the ball is hooking to the right rather than the left. You also are probably not seeing a lot of hook at your left side spares, again, due to your release. Since this is an entry level ball, I am assuming you are still a beginner at the game. Consult your pro shop operator about some lessons. I am sure that a little work on your release will resolve the issues you are describing. I highly doubt that it is a result of the way the ball was drilled. Practice makes perfect, good luck.

What are fun things to do in Columbia, Missouri for Young Couples?

My boyfriend and I are in our early teens and we don't want to go to the movies, bowling, roller rink, or each others house. What would you suggest? No bars/clubs or the park please!

I go to Mizzou, and honestly I don't really think there is much to do outside of movies, clubs, etc. You could walk around downtown which can be fun sometimes. Also if you are a couple you might want to check out the Magic tree this time of year (check website below). Luckily for me I go to school there so I am not there year round, cause it does get boring. You really have to know people and go to their parties or else there is not much to do in CoMo.
