Ebonite Bowling Ball News

how come my ebonite bowling ball curves all the way to the left?
i bought an 14 pound ebonite tornado bowling ball for 115 dollars...when i used it it always hits the pocket..i used to play a lot of games.because i played almost daily, until i stop for a few weeks...now my ball curves to the left and its not even close to hitting the pocket........now i use a 12 pounder house ball..what should i do with my 14 pounder ebonite ball, sand it,polish, and how much does it cost?
Have the 14 -pounder checked out for balast (balance). Let other players try it to see if it "curves " on them as well.
Whats the difference from the Ebonite Zoom Glow Bowling Ball and the Ebonite Maxium Bowling balls?
I am looking to buy my own bowling ball and i would like to know the difference between the Ebonite Zoom Glow balls from the Maxim balls. I know that they are good fro me, as I am a strait bowler and will use a plastic like ball.
Thanks in advanse
about the only difference is one will look real cool if bowl during glow in the dark bowling...that is why they call it the GLOW ball
How do I know the manufacturing date of may Ebonite Maxim Tenpin Bowling Ball?
Based on Serial Number, can I know the manufacturing date of my Ebonite Maxin Tenpin Bowling Ball.
You should contact Ebonite with the serial number on the ball. It will offer the batch that the ball was made in.
Ebonite Bowling Ball...HELP?
Okay, I have a question. We got a new house and I was walking our horse pasture the day we got it, and I ran into something that looking to be a beach ball. So I kicked it...and lets just say my foot hurt a lot after that! It was a bowling ball! So now I have a bowling ball and I would like someone to tell me about it and if they can help me know how much it could go for or anything about this ball they know. It is a Ebonite Personal 300 it has a number under that says 2Q48702. It is like red/white/blue...Anybody know anything about this ball? I know NOTHING about bowling! =D
Thanks!
It says here.......that the Ebonite Personal 300 is a fantastic bowling ball to plant in the neighbors yard as a practical joke. Once there, it is often mistaken for a beach ball and kicked at by the property owners. (jk)
If it were any good as a bowling ball,
it would not be in a yard. It would be in a bowling bag.
Bowlers treat their good bowling balls like anybody treats a serious money making tool. (Like a Golfer's set of Golf Clubs)
(Always in a quality bag, Always cleaned & polished after every match to get the excess oil and dirt off, looking sweet as hard candy) The best bowling balls can cost several $100's of dollars and with practice can do some remarkable things on league night. Pros would never lose one that worked for them.
Seriously, it is a leftover, or a rejected house ball quite probably stolen from a bowling alley nearby. The Personal 300 Series is a common house ball at many bowling alleys.
The number "2Q48702" is a serial number which the bowling alley should be keeping track of.
If it is still salvagable, you might be able to clean it up a bit and return it. They could be nice enough to reward you with a free game. Most likely you'll find out first hand how bad
house balls can be and get yourself a real ball. One that fits your game, is heavy enough to cause decent pin action on impact, and goes where you want it to easily.
What do you think of the new Ebonite Infinite One Bowling ball?
I have been using the same ball for about 4 years now, and it doesnt react as well as it use to. I release at around the second dot from the left, I was wondering if you think that this ball will be good for me, and if it reacts the way they say it does.
yes its time for a change.. i might get it myself the older the ball gets the less reaction you are going to get because of the track on the ball.is worn in and its softer than the rest of the ball.
