what kind of paint should i use to paint a football facemask?

i need my facemask to be black is there a specific paint i should use?

why dont you just buy the same style facemask in black? paint'll chip off and facemasks arent that expensive. Mine last year was 15 bux i think.

Does it have to be clear or not?
Can it be dark?
Is it the same rule as College football, or the same as High School?

Why does almost all the football helmets i try on the facemask points up in the air over my eyes?

it looks so stupid and i've noticed a few other kids on my team have that problem to.i dont know if its my head shape or it's bad helmets or what? i need to be able to get a normal helmet cause im a wide reciever and when there the facemask points up to my eyes it dosnt allow me catch as good cause it aoys the sh*t out of me.

You need to adjust the padding on the inside of the helmet. Almost no one has a football helmet off the shelf fit just right. All heads have different shapes. What you need to do is put the helmet on your head, then hold it how you want the face mask to be to your face and nose. Then, find out where the gaps or extra padding is inside the helmet. Start putting or taking padding around the inside 'til it sets right. This is called "fitting a helmet."

If the store you are buying from doesn't know how to do it, it is not worth buying from. There are so many sports stores that just hire minimum wage and all they can do is read instruction manuals.
