I just got a new football jersey, how do I wash it without shrinking it?
Wash it in cold water, then let it air dry.
If you use heat on it, it will shrink it.
Also the heat in the dryer will mess up the numbers, and name.
Trust I've done that before.

Can Patches on a football jersey be removed without damage?
I bought a Football Jersey recently, but i was sent the wrong one. I cant return it & i already own the same jersey. The jersey has English Premier League Patches & i was wondering if they can be removed with out damage. I want to put Champion League Patches on it Instead.
It depends upon how the patch is attached.
If it is sewed on, get a stitch cutter and it is real easy to remove. Its a small tool designed to safely and easily cut stitches without damaging the material.
If it is an iron-on patch, although you can get it off, some of the glue will often remain on the cloth and discolor it. You must have an iron, and either the protective paper used to put the patch on or a crisp, clean cloth.
I have found that wetting the cloth beneath the patch helps. Put the cloth or protective paper over the patch and heat it until it is loose and use some clamping scissors or tweezers to peel the patch off. You must quickly scrape off the glue using a clean, flat-bladed tool like a putty knife or a butter knife.
Good luck, it's not an easy procedure.

How can I remove a name from the back of a football jersey?
I have a football jersey with a player no longer on the team. It is a replica jersey so I can pull off the rectangular piece of cloth that the name is on, but there's a nasty looking dried up adhesive under it. How do I get that adhesive off? I'd hate to not be able to use this jersey anymore, it was $70! Any suggestions?
nosure but try turning the shirt inside out and iron where the letters are then you mite be able to peal them off. good luck sorry if it doesnt work.

I remenber when I washed my other football jersey the numbers got really wrinkled and stuff. I don't want that to happen with my new one that I got this year. Should I follow the directions an the label and machine wash it gently or should I hand wash it?
Follow the directions on the label. You need to be careful about putting it in the dryer though. It should go in but come out while it is still damp. Then you should hang it on a plastic hanger.
