Where can i do a credit card balance transfer and get free Callaway golf clubs?
About a year ago I saw a credit card offer that gave away a free set of Callaway golf clubs if you transferd a balance of $5000 or more from another credit card. I don't know which credit card company it was, but I am pretty sure I saw it in a magazine. Does anyone know which credit card company it was; if they still have such and offer; or are there any other similar offers out there?
Indeed balance transfer saves a lot of money and can save things from going worse, but many people simply don't know the right way to do balance transfer. This article takes a look at the correct process to initiate and complete the balance transfer.
The first thing to look out, when a person wants to transfer his balances is a credit card which offers the lowest apr rates and lowest balance transfer fees. Many online credit card companies offer credit card comparisons. It is indeed a good practice to search for the credit cards using their services and decide on a credit card which offers the maximum savings. It is important to note here that balance transfer APRs depend on a person's credit history. If the credit card in question offers the lowest rates, it is definitely for those with the best credit ratings. There are different balance transfer apr's for people with lower credit ratings. So, it becomes imperative that one chooses the credit card which offers the lowest apr and balance transfer fees for his credit ratings.
When you decide for a balance transfer it doesn't mean that your obligation for payments towards your outstanding balances with the existing credit card company cease to exist. You will have to pay the credit card company all the monthly payments. One way you can save money is to just send the monthly minimum payments to the existing credit card company. This way you won't default and invite penalty. Read more from: http://www.credit-card-gallery.com/article/414,The_right_way_to_credit_card_balance_transfers
With the Callaway Golf GES set of 7 clubs what do you use in sand?
I just got the Callaway GES club set that I bought on Ebay. It has three woods, three irons which are I think are hybrids but these are my first golf clubs so I'm a bit confused and a putter. There is no wedge, or at least nothing that says it is a wedge. The clubs are all labeled as driver, long fairway wood, mid fairway wood, long iron, mid iron, short iron and obviously putter. So I am curious if anyone knows which of these clubs I would use in sand? Right now I am just practicing driving but eventually I want to play on a course so will need to know which to use. Thanks to anyone who can help me out.
Out of the sand you want to play the club that has the most loft. That way the ball will get out easier. I recommend using your short iron for greenside bunkers (Ones right by the green) and I reccomend your mid iron for fairway bunkers (Ones far from the hole along the fairway)
which callaway golf clubs does Justin Timberlake use?
what Callaway golf clubs does JT use.
and what does a gold bag consist of, like what are all the clubs you need to play a game.
Free ones, I am sure.
If you are just starting at golf, do not buy a complete set. Get a few clubs and take a lesson to learn the fundamentals, then ask the pro for advice on clubs.
A complete set of clubs is limited by rule to 14 clubs in the bag. Driver, 3 and 5 woods, 3 thru 9 iron, Pitching Wedge, Sand Wedge and Putter.
As a beginner, you could start with just odd number irons, a driver and a putter. I started with just a 7 iron and took one lesson, then worked on my swing on the range, then bought a beginners set of clubs.
Good Luck.
Does anyone know why there is an 'R' on Callaway golf clubs?
On all of the callaway clubs that i've seen has a 'R' somewhere on the club. on the '06 big berthas its inside the number. and same with the x-18 and 20s. and on the new x-forged its on the nosel of the club. what does this 'R' mean?
It refers to the flex of the shaft. "R" is for regular/standard flex. If you saw an "S" it would be stiff. XS...extra stiff. If you have a faster swing speed you should look at using stiff shafts; otherwise, stick with "R" flex.
What distinguishes real callaway golf clubs from fake or clone ones?
This is an interesting question and is actually more complex than it initially sounds.
First, there is a big difference between clones and fakes.
Clones are often made by the same factories that make the name brand clubs. But regardless of where they are made, the specs are similar or exactly the same as the branded club they are trying to emulate. However, clones will never be marketed under false pretenses. For example, a Callaway clone will never be marketed as a Callaway. Markings and labels and even cosmetic appearance will be different. Obviously, the clone will have its own "brand name".
Fake clubs are a completely different story. Counterfeits are manufactured at various levels of quality. While some counterfeits are easy to spot (wrong colors, wrong font, etc.), others are almost impossible to identify as fake. In most cases, counterfeits are of inferior quality, often quickly breaking down. I have heard several stories of fake clubs literally falling apart during their first year of use.
Due to the difficulty of identifying top-notch counterfeits, it is in your best interest to avoid eBay (unless the seller has an excellent reputation), avoid used clubs from unverified sources, and avoid bargains that seem to good to be true. (Obviously, avoid buying them overseas unless the seller is legit). While these tips won't protect you 100% of the time, they will help you avoid a majority of the counterfeit clubs out there.
Finally, one word about clones. Unlike counterfeits, clones are usually of very good quality. If you dont need name brand clubs and are price-conscious, clones are a good way to go.
Hope this helps!
