how can i get a gas club car golf cart to go faster?
it is either a 2000 or 2003 club car golf cart and the when the governer kicks on, it makes it go really slow. I have heard about taking it off but that could over ride the engine and mess it up. Any ideas on how to make it go faster?
and if there is a way, how do you do it?
you can adjust the governor Removing the governor will possibly make the engine run to fast and blow up you can also chande the gears to make it faster
i have a 94 club car golf cart. it has 6 6volt batts. can i replace a bad one with a 12 volt batt.?
the battery i want to replace was poorly hooked up and the terminal melted itself. i own another golf cart that is run off of 12 volt batts. i was wondering if i could use one of my spares from that cart to replace the burnt out one on the club cart.

I am looking for a detailed online resource that instructs how to properly maintain and repair my 1997 Club Car. It is a v-glide Regen model.
I would suggest looking to see if Club Car has a web site. If they do, it's a good bet they have info about your model archived, if not a copy of the owners manual you can download.
If that doesn't work, do a google search for your model.
If all else fails, ask the mechanics at the courses nearby.

How can I either adjust or disable the governor on my gas powered Club Car golf cart.?
I use this cart in my subdivision and it is annopying for it cut off every time it starts going very fast. I don't want to speed but I would like for it to go a little better than it does.
I think disabling the governor is probably illegal. Who would run the state?
How to remove the steering wheel on a 1996 Club Car golf cart. ?
I have removed the cover, and unscrewed the bolt, but the wheel is pressed into the shaft, like a car's steering wheel I tried to use an auto. steering wheel puller,however: because it is plastic there is no place to screw the bolts to the steering wheel. Is there another way?
You take out your 5 iron and beat the steering wheel until it comes of.
