How exactly do I remove the speed limiter from an Electric Golf Cart?
I've recieved a couple good answers as to how to make an ordinary electric golf cart go faster. A few people have mentioned removing or disabling the limiter/regulator. Where is it exactly on a golf cart and how specifically do I disable or remove it?
I think the speed limiter is on a gas golf cart only, i believe the only thing you can do is change out gear ratios or get taller tires if you dont want to upgrade motors or batteries.

Is it possible to convert an electric golf cart to a gas golf cart, and if so how hard is it?
We have an old club car electric golf cart that is going to take a lot of work to get it running, including, buying all new batteries and a charger for it. How hard would it be to convert it into a gas powered cart? Does anyone know of any websites that give advice about that sort of thing. I appreciate any advice and answers that I receive and thank you in advance. Christie

it is always possible to do what you suggest. But you may find it cheeper to repair or rebuild what you have. There are no web sites on this subject because most gear heads aren't on line. richard

how much does it cost to charge an electric golf cart from your home outlet?
I have to share electricity with my neighbor because of the way the house has been split into apartments- she is complaining that I charge my golf cart and it runs her bill up- I plug it into the outlet about an hour a day before I use it- how do I figure out how much it actually costs average from the electric company?
Find your houses electric meter, and read it yourself, before and after. Clocks, fridge, TVs (even off). will draw some of the power - maybe you could unplug everything?
Or maybe you could read how much power is used in a hour, without charger, then with charger? shut off any electric heaters, though -
including water heater. heaters use a lot of power, at irregular times.
The meter should tell you how many kilowatt-hours are used. Figure the cost per kilowatt by dividing total electric costs on bill / kilowatts used
