I am looking to buy a new golf bag, i am currently looking at Ogio's, i really like the woode system and the zipper less ball pocket, anyone know if any other brands offer anything similar to this? Or anyone like a bag a lot and would recommend it, i mostly ride when i golf but occasionally i will walk, my price range is under or around $150. any advice or recommendation would be great, thanks
You won't beat the Ogio. They are a great, durable bag. You will really enjoy playing with it.
What is the difference between staff, stand, and cart golf bags?
So far, there are the three main types of golf bags that I have found. What's the dang difference?
Staff bags are the HUGE bags that the pro's caddies carry around for them. They have all of their rain gear and misc. junk in there that the pro might need for a round.
Cart bags are larger bags that you usually wouldn't want to carry around if you were walking the course...hence the name. Most of the time the opening where you put the clubs will be about 8" in diameter on a cart bag.
Stand bags are smaller, lighter weight bags that have legs on them that fold out when you set the bag down. These are ideal if you like to walk the course. This is probably the most popular type of bag.

Why do golf bags have 14 slots plus slot for putter?
If we can only legally carry 14 clubs during a round, why do they make golf bags with 14 slots for clubs and a side container for the putter?
many ameuters like to carry more than one driver, or maybe even like a 7 or 9 wood, it really makes no difference unless your ina tournament how many clubs you have unless your playling with people who are rule consious
Has anyone ever heard of Golden Team golf bags?
I have a really nice golf bag i got from my dads friend, its all leatheer and has some kind of fur on the shoulder strap. I looked around on websites and leather golf bags are really expensive. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this brand or know anything about it. And about how much this bag is worth?
Golden Team is an off-brand of products that I really don't think they make much of anymore. It probably is a really nice golf 'cart bag' but it's just a no-name brand. It's not worth nearly as much as you probably think comparing to different brands of cart bags you're seeing online. It's brand and age have to do with why it's not worth very much. It may be constructed very well but unfortunately in today's world "you pay for the name". Sorry if this disappoints you at all but good luck, I'm sure it's a really nice bag!
How do I solve this?? A sporting goods store recieves a shipment of 124 golf bags. The shipment includes two ?
types of bags, full-size and collapsible. The full-size bags cost $38.50 each. The collapisble bags cost $22.50 each. The bill for the shipment is $3430. How many of each type of golf bag are in the shipment. Set up a system of equations to solve the problem.
^ Gary forgot the 22.5 in his fourth step. Mine is correct. You can also tell because my numbers come out perfectly, as his has decimals.
x = full size, y = collapsable
38.5x + 22.5y = 3430
x + y = 124
This is a series of equations. x = 124 - y, from the second equation. Substitute into the first equation.
38.5(124-y) + 22.5y = 3430
4774 - 16y = 3430
y = 84
Now substitute back into the first equation.
x + 84 = 124
x = 40
There were 40 full size bags and 84 collapsable bags.
