What is the top 3 mens golf club set?

I am buying my husband a set for Christmas, and since he just gave his old set away, I have NO idea what he had or what to compare it to. He is an intermediate golfer, and had mentioned at one point about going to a pawn shop to get one, but I am NOT leaning towards that at all. I would rather go out and get him a nice new set. Any help on the top 2 or 3??

i would also say definatly get a gift certificate but also consider value for your money try to stay away from the constant barrage of the pga club makers and followers poss try to look into brands such as adams there is alot of options adams you can get a real nice set of clubs with hybrids for about half of what a new set of nikes cost and also always look at 1 or 2 year old models they are like new cars the drop significantly every year good luck and have fun

What is the best mens complete golf set for $200?

i want to buy some new clubs but i have a $200 budget, which are the best ones to buy

$200 isn't going to get you much brand new. A single new iron costs close to $100 for a top name brand. You should go to Golf Galaxy or Golfsmith and browse through their used sets. There you can get a high quality set for a much reduced price. I saw a set of Calloway X-Tour forged irons in excellent condition at GG for $429 (they sold for $1000 new two years ago).

What is a great mens' golf set for under $300? Good Clubs with a well known brand.?

Tour Edge makes great sets at reasonable prices. Looking for a complete set at that price may be difficult, but Tour Edge HP-5 complete iron sets cost about $250 and are fully customizable for length and lie.
Another good option is talk to an avid golfer. Many golfers are equipment junkies with basements or garages full of clubs they no longer use. Any true golfer would be glad to help you out.

I bought a set of texas classics mens power package golf clubs but was sent dunlop quadra link,which is better

I bought a set of clubs online for cheap. they were supposed to be a 17 piece texas classics power package set. i was however, sent a 17 piece dunlop quadra link set. i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with either clubs or would know which ones were better quality or value?

dunlop are useless. they are made cheap and quickly.
when i was a starter me and my friend got the same set of dunlop clubs from different retailers. The heads came loose within a couple of months. I went straight back and got a refund and bought some Golden Bear clubs from a local pro shop. My friends took his set back and got a second set of the same clubs, they too started to break (and i can assure you that this is not down to mis-use). I would advise you to get the texas clubs. or if possible refrain from buying whole sets off the internet. another good bit of advice is to use these websites below as i have used both and they both offer a fantastic service at the lowest prices. hope this helps.
