SO i do gymnastics but its recreational but its a really good program im the only 1 not wearing a leo and i t hink im supposed 2 so i need a simple not 2 flashy leotard...question can i put like a cami or a bra under a leo?
Sure you can wear a bra under your leo. If it makes you feel better, than wear one. The only thing is, is that it might be a little tight but then again, it might not. At my gymnastics, almost every girl wears a bra or cami under their leo. =)
How can a gymnastics leotard keep you warm in the winter?
All of the girls at my gymnastics club wear leotards during the winter and say that it keeps them warm. How can a small tight fitting leotard keep you warm?
P.S. I am a male gymnast.
because they are made thicker than most clothes. they also make you sweat more during the summer.
Do I need to be Fitted for a Gymnastics Leotard?
I am taking a gymnastics class for recreation and wondering if I need to wear a leotard or go with something else.
buy a leo (and if you like shorts also)they are the easiest outfit for doing gymnastics.you dont need one tho you could just go out in a tight shirt/camie,and shorts.her are some web sites that you can go to and look at leotards.

Otherwise ask around the gym. People grow and need bigger leos as they grow the old ones are often passed down (for a tiny price/if any at all).

What is the difference between a gymnastics leotard and dancing leotard?
I am a father with two girls in gymnastics and have no clue about the difference.
Gymnastics leotard:
* can be made of: velvet, cotton, nylon (shiny), polyester
*competition leos: long sleeve, same materials
*style: tank, spaghetti strap, cross, low neck, high neck
*pattern/design: gymnastics leos usually have a more wide range of colors and usually have designs (not one solid color) but can be solid
dance leotard:
*can be made of: cotton, nylon (usually cotton)
*dance recital leo: usually has color and tutu
*style: spaghetti strap, tank, v neck, v back, has more strappy designs
*pattern/design: usually is solid color (black, white pink) are most common
