How do you know which hockey shaft will match which hockey blade?
I was shopping for hockey shafts and blades and no website will tell me what goes with what.
Is there a website I can go to that will say?
Does all hockey blades fit in all hockey shafts if they're the same brand?
I am looking at an Easton Typhoon Int. shaft and an Easton Synergy II Int. Blade, will they fit together?
Synergy II blades only fit Synergy II shafts because both are TAPERED. The Typhoon INT shaft takes a STANDARD senior blade like Easton's Z Carbon.
The Intermediate category can be confusing because most companies design shafts to fit senior blades while Easton does so with their standard shafts, but have an intermediate-specific blade for their tapered shaft designs like the Synergy II or its predecessor, the Synthesis.
Otherwise, junior blades fit junior shafts (distinguish between tapered and standard fit) and senior blades fit senior shafts (same fit distinction).
if your 1 piece composite hockey shaft breaks, can you put a 2 piece senior blade in?
if your 1 piece composite hockey shaft breaks, can you put a 2 piece senior blade in? it's it too big? does it work?
i have a vapor,so does it fits?
Yeah you can if it breaks low enough. I broke my Synergy a couple seasons ago down by the blade and just replaced the blade.
What hockey shaft and blade for roller hockey on concrete?
I need a good stick for at practice. We practice outside on a concrete rink. I play defense man and got a drury blade 85 flex for sport court. I like to take a lot of slapshots and some wrist shots. Thank you!
I don't think the Drury blade comes in an ABS blade material, which is ideal for concrete asphalt. A composite blade might wear too quickly on that surface, so it may be best to go with wood. The Easton pro wood blade should be available in the Drury pattern and goes for about $15, so it's reasonably manageable.
As for a shaft, any will do, really. The puck or ball you're using won't be too heavy, so you can't really load a stick too well regardless of flex. A straight 100 flex or 85 flex shaft should do the trick. Just search out the best deal on a mid-high end shaft and don't worry about the brand too much.
What is the best quality senior hockey shaft with grip and an 85 flex, for under $100?
Please be specific as to where I can get it for cheapest and please dont use craig's list. The cheaper the better.
You asked this question yesterday and I suspect you'll get the same type of answers.
Can I use any blade for my Warrior hockey shaft?
I bought an intermediat warrior dolomite shaft so now can i just put any blade into it (wood or composite) or do i have to buy a warrior blade too?
First off good choice, I'm waiting until spring to buy the 08 Dolomite shaft model. As for your question you can't put any blade into it. A dolomite is a tapered shaft meaning only tapered blades will fit. But as far as brands are concerned, the brand name doesn't need to be warrior. Although some people believe if you use the same brand blade as your shaft you get a better response but this has yet to be proven. Just make sure the blade you buy is TAPERED, if your not sure, then ask. Also I believe only senior size blades will fit intermediate shafts so make sure it IS NOT a junior. Good luck.
