Best type of butterfly ping pong paddle?
Hi. My dad plays ping pong very well and i want to get him a new ping pong paddle. I'd like it to be butterfly brand and be able to pick it up from a store. No price limit. Thanks
Though I prefer DHS paddles, I'd say the paddle you should get should be the Grubba Carbon Proline. It's got good Sriver rubbers and should work well, it costs $124.99. Another good one is the Michael Maze Proline with Sriver and Bryce rubbers, $194.97. Butterfly Senshu is also a decent paddle, $ 59.99 for a cheaper way.
If you can, buy a DHS paddle, which are more affordable and have excellent quality. DHS 6002 or 5002, $59.99 and $49.99 are excellent choices.
If you really want a good Butterfly paddle, buy a custom one. A Boll TriCarbon FL or Andrzej Grubba blade ($89.99 and 49.99) with Bryce, Bryce Speed, or any Sriver rubber ($30-80), or a combination of any 2, would be best.
If you can't find any of these, look on Butterfly's website for alternates.
A general rule: Any Butterfly paddle (blade and rubber) costing more than $100 is an excellent one. Any DHS paddle 5 or 6 stars is also great.
Hope this helped, good luck! Below is a link to Butterfly's website, click on 'Pre-assembled paddles' or 'Blades: Shakehand' and 'Rubber'.
What are the benefits of Butterfly blades in ping-pong?
My uncle gave me an expensive ping-pong paddle for my birthday. There was no booklet or anything, just the package. The package said "Butterfly Blades." What are the benefits of this kind?
The biggest benefit of the Butterfly blade is it's control, which many rate as one of the best on the market. Really though, the best way to find the best paddle is to try them all out and decide for yourself. I've included a couple links with forums and stuff which talk about different blades/handles and the like.

where can i get a butterfly ping pong paddle cheap?
You don't say where you live, but most areas have used sporting goods stores that would carry this item. Most cities have table tennis associations that may let you have donated paddles or buy them quite cheaply. Local classifieds would be a hit or miss situation. Ebay and other internet bidding sites maybe good, but you're taking a chance if you don't know the paddle and condition well. You can try to get a bargain at the large stores like Sports Authority, but unless it's a closeout item, it won't be your cheapest.
what makes overall better quality blades and rubbers butterfly or killerspin for ping pong?
Hi, I will help you to answer you question.
Butterfly is more well knowed in the world than killerspin.
Personally I think butterfly is a bit better than killerspin overall because they rubber and blades have higher quality than killerspin.
Others may disagree.

This ping pong table any good?
Hi,
I have been looking to buy a ping pong table but this seems to be the only one available in Edmonton.
Do you think this is a stable and good product, or should I try to buy one like Butterfly from US and ship to here?
Thanks alot!
I think the best way to ensure that you get the table you need is to put it in the PROPER CATEGORY.
I mean seriously....are you planning on EATING off it? Or are you planning on gnawing on the table itself????
Geezzzzz.
