New Asics Nimbus 9 shoes and my heels feel kinda sore. Is this normal?
Do I need to break them in?
The material is somewhat tight in the heel area.. Weird.
My BF and I are runners and he bought those shoes last year. He ended up returning them b/c they hurt him so bad. I know those are pretty expensive shoes too!
It looks like I'm alone here...I totally disagree with those that said you have to break them in. A shoe should not cause you pain when you run. Just imagine doing a long run in those shoes and at the end having a bloody heel! Ouch...
I'm a fan of the new Nike running shoes. I never really liked Nike for a running shoe in the past, but they redesigned their model and they're really roomy and have great cushion. I also like New Balance shoes. But with running shoes it's all about personal preference.
Difference between ASICS DS trainers, GT 2130s, Nimbus and Kayanos?
Just wondering what the difference is between these models, what model is suited for certain runners etc. If you use any of these shoes and would like to share your experiences, I'd appreciate it.
I own two pairs of GT 2130's, and they're light, comfy, and all-around great shoes.

Asics Gel Nimbus 10 or Etonic Jepara 2 SC for men?
I've narrowed my search for my new running shoes to 2. I run and land on the front of my feet, my heel never touches the ground, like when you sprint, but I do that when I run and jog too.
So I don't think I need any special pronate shoes.
So which one of these are better?

I have the Gel-Nimbus and love them! They are the most comfortable shoes you'll ever wear.
How are the Gel Nimbus 10s? Or recommended running shoes?
I was looking for a new running shoe, and came upon Asics Gel Nimbus 10s. Does anyone have them? a and if so, how are they? What other running shoe do you reccomend?

If you really want to splurge and get the best on the market, I would recommend spending a bit more money for the Asics Gel-Kinsei. I absolutely love them. They provide a lot of cushioning, but also a lot of support. As a runner, I have always worn Asics, and I have gone through many different models. I was a big fan of the Gel-Kayano, but once the Kinsei came out, I headed over to my local running shoe store and tried on a pair. Ever since then, I have worn Kinsei's and I am already on my 3rd pair.
