What do you recommend for good running shorts?
I picked up a pair a running shorts as suggested in a running book. They suggested a split run short. I purchased a pair at my local running shop. I felt like I was exposed while running in a crosswind. What do you you recommend on running shorts?
I have 5 inch inseam under armour shorts I love. If you wanna feel really safe that you won't flash anyone go get spandex shorts underneath. That way, if your shorts ride up, so what!
What type of running shorts are best for my body type?
I play soccer so I have tons of soccer shorts and they work great when I play soccer of course, but when I just go on a long run they're really annoying because I have thunder thighs and they always ride up in between my legs. But if I wear shorter shorts the exact same thing happens..are there any good shorts out there that I can wear when I go running?
this happens a lot. Not much you can do but get a nylon tricot short, which most soccer shorts are already. The nylon may ride up but if they are big enough, will stay loose and fall back down.
Would loose short running shorts be ok for a guy to wear for recreational bike riding?
I normally wear longer shorts, but one time I wore my 2" inseam running shorts and I never felt so good riding my bike before. There is a lining inside the shorts to hold my junk. I am an in-shape 23 year old straight male with nice legs.

i don't think it would matter what you wore to anything. you could go naked and it wouldn't matter. aha.
since you've got the right body type, then i think you can wear anything you want.

What do people think of guys wearing short running shorts (1-3" inseam) for running and bike riding?
I am a straight 23 year old male. I am in-shape, 5'10 175 lbs, with muscular legs. A couple of times, I wore shorts this short when I was running and riding a bike. I found them very comfortable and they allowed me to move my legs easier. My girlfriend has been pushing me to wear these all the time. I am just wondering if it is okay for a guy my age to wear this because everyone seems to think that younger guys wearing short shorts are gay.
I see nothing wrong with them. I know guys like to work out and those kind of shorts help them be more comfortable. There's nothing wrong with comfort. I say go for it.
How can I get silly putty out of my running shorts?
I sat in silly putty and now it's all over my favorite pair of running shorts(they're nylon). I tried freezing them and picking it off but it didn't work. Does anyone have a way to get it off?
Remove as you would chewing gum Rub area with ice, then scrape off with dull blade. Sponge with dry cleaning solvent; allow to air dry. Wash in detergent and hottest water safe for fabric.
