Indoor Soccer?

I signed up for being a ref tomorrow for indoor soccer at a place called Sole Roll in Addison, Texas. I've been playing soccer for 9 years but am not 100% about the rules of indoor and I don't want to mess up tomorrow. Someone please help me! Tell me some rules I need to to know and maybe differences between indoor and outdoor. Thanks.

I play indoor in California, and our field is inclosed. This means we can kick the ball up against the walls and not have it being called out, but if it hits the nets above the boards it is considered out. There is no sliding except for the goalie in their goalie area only. If you are the goalie and you teammate kicks the ball at the wall and it comes to you, you can pick it up, but it has to touch the wall first. There is no offsides and if the ball hits anything hanging from the roof then the other team gets the ball. For pks the kicker can dribble the ball before he shoots and the goalie can leave their line when the whistle is blown. That is all the rules i can remember.

What goalie gloves are best for indoor soccer?

Just started in a community league and I'm concerned that with the indoor soccer ball being suede, gloves (while protecting my hands) would give me worse grip of the ball. Is this not the case or are there keeper gloves particularly designed for indoor soccer?
By the way, I'm looking for real answers from people who don't have a bunch of testosterone to throw around. Thanks!

I think the best thing to do would be to go to a store, try on some gloves and handle some indoor balls to see which work best for you. I shouldn't really matter if the are outdoor or indoor gloves.

Is it confortable to wear indoor soccer shoes for regular use?

Any specifics?

Cause I really need brand new shoes PLUS shoes for soccer season (indoor).

I am very intrested in Nike Total 90 shoots (the one with 90 on the "strike zone")
Are they confortable even with the hard top?

Thank please make your answers more than a Yes or No.

yes.I wear my ADIDAS Sambas all the time and then use them for soccer in the winter, it breaks them in evenmore.

What will i need to start playing indoor soccer?

I have indoor soccer shoes, shinguards, and knee high socks. What else will i need?

nothing really, you sound like you are good to go. i would take time to break in your shoes. wear your full gear and run a couple miles on a track on or on a field. this will give your shoes time to mold around your feet and be more comfortable come game time.

What is the difference between an indoor soccer shoe and a turf soccer shoe?

Isn't indoor soccer fields made of astro turf? So what's the diff between the shoes?

Some indoor fields normally the ones with boards have a green carpet like material, 11v11 indoor fields can also have the carpet material but most have turf. Turf shoes have rubber cleats so they don't rip up the turf while indoor shoes have a rubber bottom so you won't damage the carpet material and so that you can get a better grip on the surface.
