Do they make the mizuno GENERATION series softball gloves anymore?
Because I cant find them anywere?
Yes, they stopped making them a year ago. They make a new line, which are really nice gloves. You can probably find a Generation Series glove on eBay, but their new gloves are really nice too.

Anyone own a Mizuno Franchise Excel glove??? How would a Mizuno Franchise Excel softball glove fit on a woman?
I'm a gal looking for a new softball glove and I love the Mizuno Franchise Series, specifically the Franchise Excel GFE1251. I would get a glove off of the women's Mizuno line but I love the look of this glove in particular. I am wondering, for anyone who owns this glove or one similar, if it might fit on a woman's hand comfortably. I know the gloves specifically made for women have tighter finger stalls and such but are the other gloves so different that I would be missing out if I didn't get one that was specifically made for a woman?
I'll admit I'm not an expert on gloves but hopefully some of the links will help u find the information u need. Good luck.

Is My Mizuno GSP 1302 Supreme Series, Really A Softball Glove? Can I Play Baseball With It?
I play second base (baseball)
would this be embarrasing to go to a baseball camp to (boy, 13 years old)
What position is it good for?
The glove should say softball or baseball on it.
The type of glove depends on what it looks like. The same make comes in all different styles.
Catchers gloves have thick, rounded padding.
First Base gloves have a large, thin pocket and look as if they are all one piece.
outfielders gloves tend to be longer.
infield gloves tend to be under 13"
as for being made fun of, most people probably wouldnt notice, and those that do won't say much, it's not that big of a deal
what's the best way 2 soften a softball glove?
i have a nice, expensive mizuno softball glove but it's very stiff.
There are many manufacturers that make leather softeners/conditioners. My favorite is made by Nokona and comes in a tube which looks similar to a toothpaste tube. I think the best way to break in a glove is to use this conditioner, work it into the glove, and shape the pocket with a softball. Use the glove as much as you can at home or just sitting in front of the TV pound it with a ball. There is no quick fix to break in or condition good leather. Don't try all the off the wall things you might hear like baking it in the oven, or soaking it in water, etc. Those things not only will not soften it, but will damage the leather. Patience and a lot of use will give you a glove you can use and keep for many years. And don't forget to condition the leather even after it is broken in to keep it soft and keep it from drying out.
