How do i know what size softball equipment i need?

i am trying out for A softball team this year. i have played when i was really little and stopped by the time i was 6 therefore do not have any equipment necessary how do i know what size bat, glove, and any other equipment necessary?

p.s. i am 5'3 and weigh about 125 lbs.

Additional equipment: You might want to buy your own helmet. I like having my own anyway. Probably some batting gloves, long socks, a few balls, sliders (these are a must), cleats (find out if your league allows spikes or just molded cleats), and if you want, you can get a bat weight.

where can I buy good used softball equipment to start a community softball league in Costa Rica?

I am a Canadian, living in Costa Rica, Central America. A group of young Costa Rican adults want to start a small, community softball league, but don't have the money to buy new equipment.
Where can we acquire some reasonably good, used softball equipment, for little money?

look on eBay. You can get anything from there. Make a list of what you need and start looking. Also check out Craigslist - yopu can post on there that you want softball equipment. Keep asking around, some people who are better off might like to donate so that they can buy new stuff for themselves.

Can I get a sample of a letter asking for donations for a softball equipment?

I need a letter where I can ask a company for money donation to buy uniforms.

Make it very short and to the point.
I'm assuming you would have already spoken to someone who owns/manages the target company.
If not, do that first.
That way, they will know they're dealing with people and not a name on a piece of paper.
Also, get all the details (costs, place of purchases and uses...spell it out).
Don't be surprised if they want you to give some sort of visual acknowledgement of their support (their logo on your uniform)...plan for that in your design.

Can I use fast-pitch softball equipment for slow-pitch softball?

I have a fast-pitch glove and bat, but would like to play recreational slow-pitch softball. I am wondering if it is common for some people to have a fast-pitch glove and bat while playing slow-pitch softball. I am mainly concerned about being able to use my glove, which I picked because it fits me well. What are y'all's thoughts?

Can someone list softball equipment for me?

For an 11 year old 5 feet, beginner
Example:

Kneeguards
Softball Bat 30"
and so on

glove, for that age probably an 11 1/2, aluminum bat- ask for advice from the coach as to the appropriate size( probably a 30 with an 10 oz . drop), sliding shorts, sliding pad, cleats, batting gloves, an equipment bag, helmet with face guard and softballs.
